End of the month overview
The short month of February is almost over, and I'm counting down the days to Spring. We've had some fabulous weather here in Philly this winter, and I can't wait for the wrm temps to arrive! Snow hit our doorsteps only twice, not really giving the boys an opportunity to go sledding or build snowmen. But, I have numerous pictures of us all eating lunch outside in December and January. 60s in December and January!! I'll take it!
Gabby girl continues to be suffocated by her brothers with lots of love and kisses and hugs. It's ridiculously adorable.
Sammy Bear is becoming Mr. Tattletale and Mr. mom. He thinks it's his place to discipline his brothers. Also cute and adorable.
Matt, well Matt sends most of his time getting bonobos and whining. I'm hoping this phase passes quickly. When was not doing those 2 things, sign him up for cutest kid alive.
Jack Jack is turning 2 in 3 weeks!!! Wow. He was the most adorable baby, and is turning into a handsome little man! I can't wait to hear his little voice start talking. I CAN'T WAIT! I'll post video of him saying 'cheese'. It's freaking adorable!!

Gabby G is 4 months old!
See how long it takes me to write here?! I think I'm going to start scheduling a day and time on my calendar to write my posts!
Here's what's been going on so far. Matt and Sam are so incredibly super smart, I feel like I don't challenge them enough. With that said, I'm thinking about purchasing a preschool 'homeschool' curriculum I can use for this summer. We've applied to 1 preschool (fingers and toes crossed they get in!) and know of another that doesn't have a wait list. In the meantime, I need to start teaching new stuff. I think they're getting bored with me.
Jack on the other hand, still doesn't really talk, but we all know that once he starts, he'll probably have the vocab of his daddy. He's just keeping mum for now!
And then there's the Gabster. I don't think she can be more beautiful or perfect. I thank God everyday for her. She smiles all.thr.time. She takes the perfect nap. The boys adore her so much I think they would burst. In fact, they hold her on a daily basis now while sitting on the couch. Pics to follow. It's just too much I tell you!

The Playroom
There are days that are great and there are days that are bad, and I am justifying the fact that I haven't written in 2 weeks to the 'bad'. No, I did not have 12 bad days in a row, just busy and tiring. Matt was gone from the 4th through the 8th, so I lost some good weekend time to catch up. That's OK though! I'm back and ready to go!
This past week, I was totally dedicated to bringing in the new, and taking out the old in our playroom. The boys were blessed with so many new toys and when you combine them with the toys they already have, well, it's total chaos. So, in came lots of new bins and containers from my favorite store, Ikea. Here are some pictures of our progress thus far. One of walls will totally be painted with chalkboard paint, so I can start teaching the boys how to write their letters and numbers!
Pics to follow!

My Baby girl is 3 months old!
They say it goes by so quickly, and they are right. Gabby turned 3 months today. Holy hell. Where did the past 3 months go? Where did the past 3 years go? This is why I'm getting after a blog, so I can remember what I did last week, or last month, last year. The boys are seriously learning new words and 'things' every day. Jack is at the point where he still doesn't talk, only says Mama and Dada. I think this will really be a great way to follow along his progress with his vocab. I'll try and post some video of him talking. Oh, and his dancing too. It's just awesome. So awesome.

Hello 2012!
Today is the first day of the year, and it's only appropriate for this to be my first blog post. I'm hitting the ground running while starting this, so I suppose it's only fair to do some intros. Hi. I'm Christi. I'm married to Matt. I have 4 kids, 4 kids under 3 that is. It's fun. My oldest two are identical twin boys, names are Matt and Sam. Born 9/10/2008. Oh, and on their father's birthday no less. Like I tell people, I was able to play God and pick a date, and so I choose that one. I was blessed to make it 38 weeks. And before you ask, Sam was born 1 minute before Matt. Oh how I wish my doctor pulled them out at the same time, just another something they can fight over when they're 10. Jack is next. He's 22 months. Born 3/22/2010. He's my little firecracker. He was the biggest cuddle bug, until he was able to run after the boys. Now, he just tries to keep up. And finally, my little princess, Gabriella. Born 10/4/1011. 3 days before my birthday, and 3 weeks before her due date. I was lucky to get this thing they call kidney stones. UGH. So in order to make me feel better, and for her to not reap the effects of my awesome drugs, they decided to pull her out early. 7 pretty painful days in the NICU, and she made her way home on the 11th. We are one big, happy, crazy, on-the-go, family.
This blog will hopefully be a journal in which I can let it all out. The ups, the downs, the uglies. Maybe what I made for a dinner one night, what we did today or where we went, or how I organized the closet the next. Which, by the way, is my secret passion. To be a professional organizer. I will take before and after pictures so when I start my own business, my phone will be ringing off the hook!
This is my life, told from the mouth of a hyper houseMoM.
